Why is tango growing?
Argentine Tango is one of the most popular dances in the country because there are no competitions because the true milongueros (as they are called, a name that is derived from the event of dancing which is called a milonga) actually prefer to dance with one another over showing off.
Tango is a challenging dance to learn, it takes 4-5 years to really become a good dancer. What keeps people involved in tango longer than ballroom dances is the challenge and once you get it, there is nothing like it!!!
