Tucson Tango Instructors

Argentine Tango is one of the most popular dances in the country because there are no competitions because a milongueros prefers to dance over showing off.

Tango is a challenging dance to learn, it takes 4-5 years to really become a good dancer. What keeps people involved in tango longer than ballroom dances is the challenge and once you get it, there is nothing like it!!!

Look for an instructor that is:
Actively involved in the community…
Helping to grow the community…
That gives as much as he/she takes…
That is more concerned with your learning than with their teaching :)

Tango is a walking dance. Though there are many techniques and methods to getting there, it has been said about tango that “all roads lead to Rome” meaning if you hang around and practice diligently as you seek instruction, you will eventually get it.

Tango is a learned behavior… so ask yourself: “Did you learn to walk, or did someone teach you?”

Keep dancing and seeking you will find your way. As it is said: “When the student is ready the teacher appears.”

Creative activity could be described as a type of learning process where the teacher and the student are located in the same individual.” ~Arthur Koestler~
